Pastor Conway is a “KINGDOM FOCUSED” pastor! OUR KINGDOM FOCUSED CHURCH HAS ONE PRIORITY, a growing relationship with GOD (God Builds His People One Person at a Time)
The Family of God Baptist Church is not a typical American church. What make our church unique is that the whole person is nurture and equipped for spiritual warfare. It is a Great Church. Our church is not a Body of Christ, which is filled with many different philosophies. We have the philosophy of the Pastor, deacon, charter member, young people, the older people, those who believe they have paid their dues and have the right to control (by the way, only one person paid their dues “Jesus Christ” and that gives Him control). This is the age of Market Driven, Slick Advertisement, Easy do-it church in contrast to taking the Gospel of Love to the community.

With all these philosophies floating around is it any wonder that high % of churches are out of focus at their mission and declining in the vertical focus? Is it any wonder that many (if not most) of the churches find themselves in conflict? It seems to be a philosophy of “everyone does what he thinks is right in his own eyes.” Candidly, this has been done before and the results were disastrous Proverb 14:12. Pastor Conway has a Plethora of Clinical, Pastoral and Academic experience. He is an Adjunct Professor at the Baptist College of Florida.
Pastor Conway has served in over twenty different countries, including: England, France, Germany, Italy, Panama, and Australia. In 2003, he was hand-picked to serve as the 1AF Command Chaplain for Operation Noble Eagle, supervising Chaplain Readiness Teams throughout the United States. He is a veteran of Operations Just Cause, Desert Shield and Desert Storm, Iraqi Freedom, Noble Eagle, and numerous other humanitarian missions. In December 2006, he retired as Regional Director of Chaplain Services for five medical centers in Biloxi, Mississippi. Pastor Conway led one of the Veterans Health Care Administration’s strongest nationally recognized pastoral care programs in the country. Under his leadership, the pastoral care programs have consistently been recognized for innovation, effectiveness, and for its talented staff of full/part-time, fee-based and contract chaplains. In 1998, he received the Hands and Heart Award and in 1999, his program was recognized by the Secretary of Veteran’s Affairs, with the National Secretaries Award for Excellence in Chaplaincy. Additionally, through effective leadership, four chaplains under his guidance received the National Secretaries Award in 2000 and 2001. He has co-created and led a state of the art Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome Program and nationally recognized homeless program. For three years, he served as a faculty member teaching and counseling over 300 scholarship athletes at Baylor University in Waco, Texas.
